Yes, the issue here was indeed with fedora packaging (I'd updated calligra, and
forgot to rebuild kmymoney against the newer libkdchart). It is being tracked

I cannot reproduce the failure reported here on my f25 box.
What I did:
sudo dnf builddep kmymoney -y
git clone kde:kmymoney
cd kmymoney
git checkout remotes/origin/4.8 --track
mkdir bui

oops, except I think the version of gpgme in f25 updates hasn't fixed that
issue (yet), so it may be a downstream issue.
(I'll take care of fixing that now)

OK, looking closer at sources, this encryption support appears to be
unrelated to sql
I've been investigating a feature request for fedora packaging,
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1423441
I presumed this was to enable the sqlcipher plugin, so I worked to provide
the qt private headers/sources which were required (again, as far as my
understanding of

I believe it is required

Hi, I'm the kmymoney maintainer for fedora. For f27, there are some
dependencies missing (which will be included in the upcoming f28 release).

Yes,
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2018-80d4a8a9c5
Fedora 27/28 already includes kchart (included in kdiagram-devel pkg)

It's part of the kdiagram and

For what it's worth, both kmymoney-5.0 and kmymoney master builds fine on f28
for me (master required building libalkimia master from source as it's not
released or packaged yet).
I do not use qtchooser, so it's

Thanks for the clarification.
I'd jumped to that conclusion seeing the output:

It wasn't clear to me, that's why I asked for clarification. My guess is that
your local build on f32 was bad too, which supports my theory that this is
related to building with gcc 10 somehow. Either a compiler bug

Unfortunately that didn't answer my question. Does the local build on f32 work
ok or not?

"Will 5.0.9 be released to the Fedora project repository any time soon?"
When kmymoney 5.0.9 is released, yes. At this moment, it is not (yet).
