Hello Jim, There is no way in Knot DNS 2.4.0 how to force an outgoing NOTIFY message. But you could use kdig instead (kdig -t NOTIFY ...). However, if you used Knot DNS 2.6.5 from Debian Stable Backports, you could use 'zone-notify' knotc command, which is exactly what you are looking for.
