Requirement: Job Title : SAS TEAM Lead (Functional) Location : Jersey city, New Jersey Project Duration : 6 Month(s) Est Start Date : immediate Skill Set : Under the general direction of the Manager of Customer Insight, the Statistical Analyst Expert directs the creation of models to generate the sales of Marketing Services data assets, the scoring of client files, as well as the development of various generic list/ enhancement data products. As part of this process, the Statistical Analyst Expert coordinates the projects, including facilitating the communication between all necessary individuals involved (Clients, Sales, Enhancement, Production, Maintenance, etc).Skills Required: 1.Display full ownership/responsibility for projects including producing and implementing the project plan. 2.Demonstrate efficient use of time while directing the production of statistical models/ marketing analysis for use in the identification and selection of potential prospects for our clients. 3.Overseeing the creation of reports, documentation, and score coding as part of the analysis process. Determining with the client the appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics. 4.Audit model scores for accuracy. 5.Document model algorithms, including all programming involved for data aggregation, sampling, etc, for transition to production and data maintenance teams. 6.Interact with and present to internal / external clients in a professional, comprehensive, and confident manner. Collaborate with clients, sales, enhancement, and production to ensure the success of all projects. 7.Provide business consultation to determine scope of projects to support the needs of our strategic accounts. 8.Work with Product Development and Product Marketing to develop and implement new analytical and data products and services. 9.Mentor Statistical Analysts I, II, and Senior on statistical methods and procedures as well as on applications that fit our clients' business needs. 10.Oversee/supervise the completion of projects with the analyses run primarily by the Statistical Analysts I, II, and Senior. 11.Represent the department via presentations at trade shows & internal education sessions. Required Education/Skills: A minimum of a Master's degree in Statistics or a related field is required. Minimum 10 years professional experience in analytical process and design. Strong analytical skills are essential. PC and mainframe skills required. Experience programming in SAS and/or other comparable statistical software. Outstanding attention to detail required. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required. Job Description : This is a functional position - Need someone with Marketing services exp, credit data.
