Travel Required – Yes DESCRIPTION: Full Description of subject matter expertise/skill/experience needed – Experience with Teradata tables. Be knowledgeable inner Teradata infrastructure. Utilize SAS and Teradata partnership functionalities where applicable. Understand and optimize large data flow between SAS and Teradata. Be familiar with SAS Integration technologies. Create and manage macros to streamline user driven data extraction processes. Automate DI Studio batch workflow. Schedule and maintain weekly jobs. Create alert and flags to confirm completion of background extractions and loads. Complete Functional design, functional specifications, configuration and technical documentation templates. Work in an agile managed project environment to meet pre identified frequent delivery goals. Data Developer: Teradata requirements in the job description helps candidates understands data source is Teradata. Since SAS does not have a database, this information is pretty important. Teradata and SAS relationship is mentioned in the document to be able to receive candidates who are aware of the fact and have worked with large datasets.
