I'm not part of the development team or anything but here's my explanation: not everyone is able to upgrade to the newer versions so the older versions remained supported for some period of time. So while there is no more development to 3.2, any bugs found will be fixed. At some point, even

All, Is there a way to use UseControlNumber to use the record control number ($w subfields) and control number (001) for linking of the bibliographic records if the 001 has leading zeroes? Or, is there a way to strip the leading zeroes short of manipulating the marc record and reloading?
