I followed the instructions at http://vimalkumar.oksociety.in/node/74 to
install koha and everything was smooth until i got the following error on
running the webinstaller using 127.0.0.1:8000
Software error:
Access denied for user 'kohaadmin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) at
/usr/share/koha/
nevermindi found out whats the problem i just need to set some file
permission.

I'm creating an android app for koha for my school project and was wondering
where do i put my own custom perl script?
I tried creating a file called test.pl in koha's opac folder, but when i
tried accessing it by using this url http://ipaddress/cgi-bin/koha/test.pl
it returns a webpage with error

I am not familiar with ABCD. But as it is based on ISIS, it should allow you
to define the output using PFT. So you can write a PFT to print the output
in MARC format.

Koha stores the data in MARC format, either MARC21 or UNIMARC, so you need to
convert the data to that format in order to import it into Koha.
There is a free tool called MarcEdit that can help with this, it is available
here: http://people.oregonstate.edu/~reeset/marcedit/html/in
Maybe there should be some kind of Bug Swatter Award given each month or
after each GSOD session.
I understand that closing out bugs is less sexy and exciting than developing
something new so we need to recognize those that are willing to do that
work. It is certainly equally important!

Our very first Global Signoff Day (GSOD) was held on 2011-06-15.
During the 48 hours that make up a day in all available time zones, we

There is an institution in Zimbabwe that have been using ABCD but are having
challenges with the system. They are now contemplating going the koha root.
However, they want their bibliographic records to be migrated to Koha. They
are saying they are not using MARC format in their ABCD. Any
