Hi!
2013/5/5 clint.deckard clint.deck...@frontiers.co.nz:
Greetings,
Is it possible to (easily) rename an instance?
No, there is no koha-rename script.
I am using Koha 3.10 Debian packages and would like to copy/clone one
instance to a new instance with a different name. Is this possible?
setting virtualshelves = 'don't allow' causes no changes in the staff client.
users can still see the 'lists' option and create/view lists. virtualshelves
= 'don't allow' should make completely remove lists from the staff client
I can understand your remark very well.

I agree that a way to work around the Z39.50 search issue would be to search
for both 10-chatacter and 13-character ISBNs. Depending on how the various
Z39.50 targets work when servicing such searches, koha may well have to
search using both hyphened and plain forms as well. That would quadruple

Last Friday, I finally got the go-ahead to install Koha in my library. We're a

I have installed koha (localhost) on the laptop with Debian Squeeze
2.6.32-5-686 - Koha 3.10.03 and connected to internet with broadband

Test: When you look-up a title, say #364, look at its details (
I'm running a slightly older version 3.10.02 in my test system
I searched for everything with item type books - 5351 records
I exported everything from biblio number 00 to biblio number 99,
Item type books, Library: all
and got 5339 records.
The export is not doing what I expect it to do,
Greetings Manos,
Sorry to be unclear--what I should have said is that all the items uploaded,
and when I look at an individual bib record, all the items, complete with
barcodes, are there. It's only on the search results screen displaying multiple
titles (if I search surgery for example--we
I am running Koha 3.10.5 on Debian Squeeze on a Windows 7 virtual machine.
A unimarc flavored instance was created and two records were loaded on
the fresh system from a Z39 server.
Retrieval of the records seemed to work correctly but a reindexing was
required after some editing of the two
Hello

off in next days or weeks.
