I think Mason has released a newer version now 3.23+dfsg-1+koha1, which was
needed for newer versions of Ubuntu, which used newer versions of
libjson-validator-perl than 3.06.
So the fix now should just be:
apt-get update
apt-get install libjson-validator-perl
