I can think of a couple of possibilities.

First, how did you transfer the data? Did you import the data into the catalog?
If you staged but didn’t import, they’d be in the reservoir but not the catalog.

Second, did you rebuild the index after importing the records? Lately I’ve had
problems with records not showing up in the catalog—turned out I needed to run
koha-elasticsearch –rebuild -d -v [name of the Koha instance, in my case,
library] –commit 1000
My thanks go to Nick Clemens of Bywater Solutions for the –commit 1000 ending.
My Elasticsearch had just one node and crashed every time I tried rebuilding
the index using the default of 5000. It won’t be a problem for your Koha
instance of 800 records, but someone else reading this might find it helpful.
You can leave out the –commit 1000

But what do you mean by lost since the digital access path has ben changed? If
it has a new IP address, pointing to that should work. Can you get to either
the staff client or the OPAC?

Reply off-list if you’d like.

Hi everyone,

We are an independnat library which recently installed Koha. We

cataloged our c. 800 books, on a local system on a PC. Yet, we had to

move the catalog to an other computer (and cloud) and the whole list

have been lost in the process since the digital access path has been

changed.

However, we have been able to tranfer (and find) our 800 books , which

are gathered in the reservoir (name, author, ISBN, etc.), but we

cannot find the catalog, which lists each item of our library and

which allows us to do loans, etc.

Do you know how can we recover such pieces of information? Where can

we find the catalog?

Thank you very much.

Jehane Zouyene
