Hi Andrew,
for logging into the OPAC Koha requires cardnumber/userid AND password.
There is no way to make this cardnumber only for security reasons.
If you are using the web based self check using only the cardnumber is
an option there. See the SelfCheckoutByLogin system preference.

Can someone point me to a guide, if it is possible, to have patrons
self-login by scanning just their library card? Been digging through the
documentation and preferences looking for a way to set this up.
