I am not a Koha expert -- far from it! -- but I'm guessing that you neglected to export the environment variable KOHA_CONF when running process_message_queue.pl -- if you didn't export it, then the Perl script you're trying to run can't "see" it. Try this: cd /usr/share/koha/bin/cronjobs
