Hi! I have had customers reporting problems importing patron data from Excel into Koha (via CSV). When I have opened the file in LibreOffice and saved as CSV from there it has worked fine for me. Could you give LibreOffice a try? I think it *might* be related to this bug: Bug 10117 - Byte Order
