I don't know if it has anything to do with the problems you're having,
but why are you installing such an old version? Koha 3.18 is the
current stable version.

A couple of ideas:
Is /etc/koha/koha-sites.conf pointing to the right OPACPORT? It should be 80.
What's up with /etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default.conf? If you're only
running Koha, you can disable it. Once I did that, I no longer got the apache
page. See Disable Default Site in
As a slight tangent, if you want to run a web site on your server in addition
to Koha, you can. Edit
/etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default.conf
to change VirtualHost to 81 (or whatever port you want)
Then edit
/etc/apache2/ports.conf
to listen on port 81 (or whatever port you want)
I believe most folk don't edit the Default framework.
Save a copy as your local framework and then edit it.

Greetings,
Is koha really your instance name? Perhaps you created another in your
confusion?

Hello All -
I have been quite busy lately and I haven't been able to get an update

family trips.
Anyways, the updates you've all been waiting for.

Hi all,
Yes the MOU has been established - can be viewed here:

It might be an idea to link to it from the Wiki.
The Paypal donate button code is here - and anyone is welcome to add this to

Another thought just occurred to me: have you set up the library on the new
system? After you set up Koha, the first thing you have to is log in on port
8080 (or whatever port you set your admin page to) and log in as koha_library
with the password found in the koha-conf.xml file. See
Hi Jack,
Sounds like you have to change the OpacMaintenance system preference to Don’t
Show, if I'm understanding you correctly. Doing so will get you our of
maintenance mode (provided you haven't password protected your OPAC. It should
be public by default).

Hi,
as far as I know, those fields are no longer in use and will probably be
removed at some point. Editing them should not be necessary or have any
effect.
Hope this helps,

a bug under the Website product in the community bug tracker for
whatever the final decision is. It won't exist until you file it. :)
