To test, apply the patch and run updatedatabase. - Go to Administration -> System preferences -> Enhanced content. - Enable the OPACAmazonCoverImages preference. - Enter a dummy ID in the AmazonAssocTag preference. - Confirm that you can select "Indian" for the AmazonLocale preference. - Select "Indian" and save. - Open a record in the OPAC and confirm that the cover image links to Amazon.in and includes the ID you entered in AmazonAssocTag. - Do the same with a record in the staff client. It would be nice to have an option on whether a Refund is given to the patron. My thought would be that instead of YES/NO for the Refund Lost Item fee - there could be a third option "Ask for Confirmation". There are a lot of situations, where the circulation desk is just removing the lost item off the patron's account however the library still wants the status to stay as LOST. Currently, this is not possible. If the item does get checked in with the Refund Lost Item fee set to YES, the patron gets the refund. It seems that the script stores the results of a search term using only the
search term - not the authority type, this can be problematic
Image A record containing both a subject and topic term:
650 _0 $aShort stories
655 __ $aShort stories
And there being an authority record for each:
Short stories AUTH_TYPE SU_TOPIC #1708
Short stories AUTH_TYPE GENRE #1709
The linker for the first stores:
$cache->{Short stories} = 1708
and the genre link then reuses this search

Our interface is only in French (the language of our country) or in English (the science's new lingua franca). I we had installed other languages, we should have installed all languages available, which even today seems overkill, while everyone seems OK with French and English. Therefore, having stemming based on the interface language doesn't look a good option for us. OK maybe we're weird, nonetheless I think most University libraries have books in a lot of different languages and not just one or two. With our context, stemming itself seems quite trying. We aren't yet eager about it. So before having the full stemmed engine picky about which language is what, what have done Ere (thank you !) will certainly suit us. If it is not generic enough to be in Koha... Previously the appropriate backend's metadata function would return it. For at least the FreeForm backend, the metadata property names we title cased. The datatable JS was expecting this and breaks with the new metadata getting which is performed in the API controller, which just returns the property names as they appear in the DB. This patch changes the expectation of the JS to match what's coming back from the API Signed-off-by: Magnus Enger Tested by repeatedly loading the API-call http://intranet/api/v1/illrequests?embed=metadata,patron,capabilities,library in Chromium and watching the reported time to load the URL. There is a siginificant decrease in the time with the patches compared to the time it takes without the patches. I had some concerns along the way, but they have all been fixed.
