Hi Michael,
did you check if the necessary files were all created? If the
translations weren't created, that could explain why the GUI language
didn't switch and why you have entries missing.
If you select English, everything looks normal?

I tried running the translation on my dev environment for 22.05 and the
translation script didn't show an error with the po files. So far so
good. I then also ran through the web installer: the interface language
switched and all options appeared.

Thanks for sharing this, Chris. It's sad news indeed. Rosalie was an
inspiring leader and innovator whom a number of us had the opportunity to
meet at KohaCon10 in Wellington. She probably bet her career on the ability
of you, Joanne, Rachel and Simon to deliver the project. Winners all
around.
