Protection from corrosion?
Primer paint, specifically zinc chromate or epoxy type.

Very inexpensive model/toy RC helicopters are referencing an on-board "gyro
chip" to assist in stability.
Does anyone have ANY info on using these chips to cobble-up a simple
Turn-and-bank?
Other question: how accurate are these 'altimeters' installed in super-duper
wrist-watches?
Powder coat can be cheap if done yourself.

Start researching 16 channel analog data
Start researching 16 channel analog data loggers and you'll see why they get
$1000 for a custom one. By time you get something generic, write a program for
it (assuming they give you something to do that and you don't have to buy and
learn LabView or VB), tweak it do do what you want. You'll
Most engine-monitoring software for cars doesn't support direct sensor
interfacing, but relies on the car's computer system built-in engine
monitoring, and simply displays the data that's already been collected
and processed
Apart from aircraft with a FADEC, or auto-powered experimentals
I have a hp notebook using APIC software which allows engine monitoring to be
setup on the screen. Emailed the company for info on where I can get an
interface for this setup. So far no response from company but it is early yet.
Is there any unit out there that can easily interface engine
