KR> thinning micro/Vinyl Ester

Seth, No need to bash on the group. I think the lack of answer is because not many people are using micro with Vinylester. You would be much more likely to get a good answer on the GlasAir list where nearly everything is done with vinylester resin. The simple answer would be to take a day

Ref the spinning debate- at the 1891 gathering ,I met John Scheffer? who had survived a flat spin into trees ,fortunately skewering himself on a broken branch thus avoiding earthly contact.. He might have some relevant input. Regards to all, Mac [image: View album]

Thank you, Paul--I did appreciate your initial response below but was not sure from it whether you were specifically addressing my particular question about vinylester and isopropyl. I knew that I could use thinners with micro in the way you described but wanted to be aware if there were any

I'm new but have been studying many of the sites shown on KRnet.org. I' m confused by the one for a KR2s being built by Robert Pesak (close to the bottom of the list of those under construction). The workmanship is fantastic but he is mounting the one piece wing by sawing two slots in the bottom

Thank you very much, Jeff and Jon-- I'm sorry for the earlier unnecessarily general reaction. Only one response surprised me and I'm embarrassed that I let it bother me. This group has been nothing but helpful and encouraging to me for the past three years. Jeff, thank you for all that you

Hi Jeff I for one am thankful for your wisdom. I am one of the great unwashed who has never completed a fully developed spin (it not being required as part of the standard PPL syllabus) so I am grateful that those who have the knowledge are happy to share with the rest of us. Many thanks Gavin

You are probably finding out the hard way that nobody has an answer because nobody has tried it. As a rule of thumb I wouldn't put a thinner in resin for a structural application because it will likely leave voids in the resin as it evaporates...but I love using it with epoxy and micro as a

Mark L and I were having a short conversation off line about the "Aftermath KR-2", controls and spins. I started a write up about incipient spins vs fully developed spins. Then I realized that many pilots may not know the difference. When one talks about having done spin testing in an
