I understand well now the situation with the aircraft wood suppliers. I may try
first to get decent Douglas Fir select lumber that I will test myself. If I
fail to get what I expect, I will order from Wicks or Aircraft Spruce Canada.

If you get "Trade-a-plane" there are lots of places to get rings. Never had a
problem finding any thing needed for engines or airframes in 45 years of
working on aircraft.Last time I ordered bushings, I think I used Chief.?Gary

There really isn't any other aircraft quality wood sources here in Canada these
days as wood is less popular than it once was.
I used Aircraft Spruce who has a CDN store at Brantford airport.
