I don't know about cutting plex glass but I did all of my cutting of lexan using a 4 inch grinder with a cut off blade. I know this sounds crude but it worked good for me. I just kept the blade moving so as not to get the lexan too hot. and made about 3 passes to make a cut. I did tape off the

Too late, I've already formed and installed the wind screen about a year ago. I did heat it but did so very slowly. Heated then allowed to cool then raising temp another 10 degrees and cooling then another 10 degrees and cooling---slowly--repeating over two days until I got what I wanted. I

If your set on using the van I would cut a door on each side in order to work on the wings. If doors fold down hinged at the floor level and used as a platform to work and enough area to walk around the ends of the stub wings then I think it may be possible with a lot of extra work. Just fold

Bobby I made my own brackets out of 1/8 4130. lower brackets out of 1/4 4130 but just cut my old retract spring bar in half and used it for the legs. Upper brackets I set at 46 degrees from the horz. Lower brackets I set at 46 from the vert. This gave me 2 degrees of camber in the wheels.
