I've got an almost brand-new Dynon D2 for sale for $800. It's under
warranty until next November 25th, which is when I bought mine last year.
It's a one-year warranty and is not tied to the original owner. They
strictly go by purchase date and serial number. I found it to be a very

Stef,
I will throw another hat in the ring for Dynon. I have used the D10, D10A,
and now the Skyview. I just flew with a friend who has both a D100 and a
D120 installed in his RV. As far as I know, all the RV12 are built with
Dynon. I like their products, their continuous improvement, and

I have the Dynon capstan type servos on order (rather than the lever arm for
push rod controls)
The kit comes with a secondary cable you wrap around the capstan a few times
then you strap the free ends in parallel with your control cable.
Should be an easy install as

I am also very interesting about the [Dynon} servos.
Stef,
The Dynon servos are "small" and designed to work in RV sized aircraft. The
KR wing is similar in size, though I do not know anyone who has them
installed in our birds. Kurt from Dynon has been after me for a year now to

Hi there, has anyone installed the Dynon autopilot servos into a KR?
If you have I'd love to hear how it went, how it flies and maybe some
mounting photos.
The D6 and D60 are simpler versions of our D10A and D100 EFIS units. Designed
for those builders that want an affordable replacement for a 6-pack or are
looking for the perfect backup to a more complex panel, the D6 and D60 are
priced at $1600 and $1900 respectively. These prices make a glass
My Dynon EFIS does not exhibit turning errors, because it senses and
responds to the total Earth magnetic field vector.

Hey Sid - I am about to order 4 Dynon's (EFIS D10) and I still have no
first hand info on their performance. I had some reservations and

Steve,
I have not flown my KR-2 yet. My experience is limited to talking with the
hardware and software engineers at Dynon, playing with the D10 on the bench,
and Navy development programs as a navigation systems consultant. The Navy
deployed this same magnetometer technology about 6 years

Dana, if you're going to be pitching steam gages out the window just make
The military environmental requirements and operating conditions will
put more wear and tear on avionics in six months than we will put on a
KR-2 in twenty years
The D10 is not certified for Instrument Flight Rules applications
I had already installed my pitot-static probe

Steve,
I bought the Pitot-static tube from AS, P/N 15144 for $15.65 plus shipping. It
is mounted on an aluminum L bracket glued to the forward face of the left outer
main spar, about 3 feet from the tip.I thought about putting it on the stub
wing, but wanted to be sure it was out of the

Absent the presence of a Navaid Servo in the KR, the Trio costs a whole lot
more to install, unfortunately.

Larry,
Get on Ebay or better, plug into a couple of the larger experimental
aircraft
