Made engine runs on the 2180 VW with new cooling ducts. OAT 88 degrees F,
all CHT at 320 degrees F, all EGT at 980 degrees F, oil temp at 150 degrees
F - not really working hard. No leaks. Mixture set at 14.7 AFR
Putting the newly painted cowl on now; fitting up nicely with 3/16-inch
spinner
A condition inspection on an amateur built Experimental Aircraft may be
performed by either the holder of the repairman's certificate for that
particular plane, or any A&P Rated Mechanic. An I/A is not required. As an A&P,
I have done a number of them.

Hi All,
It is 69 degrees here in Stevens Point, WI and I just returned from an hour and
a half of flying at 1000 feet AGL in perfectly calm air. What a hootI
love my KR. Keep building guys, your rewards await you!

After 15 months of not piloting an aircraft, I finally got a flight in on the
KR last night.
I have to say, out of the 50 or so different aircraft models I have flown, this
thing is my favorite. Very responsive yet very stable. A hard balance to strike!
To recap, I had been having oil pressure
Thanks Jeff,

Can a condition inspection be done by an A&P or does it have to
be an IA?
Thanks

Out of school for a few weeks and dedicating time to finish canopy, front deck,
sealing fuel tanks, and finishing wings. Hopefully starting on engine mount and
cowling before work starts back up, and weather permitting.
