  I have a manifold pressure gauge in my KR. It's nice for fine tuning throttle settings and calculating percent power, but it's only there as a personal preference and is completely unnecessary without a constant speed prop. Can't say that I would be able to diagnose valve issues or engine

Bob, Yes, that is the original Revmaster design. My Revmaster engine and heads came that way. They work, but you must remove the valve cover before you can access the plugs. When I replaced my heads, I replaced them with the Great Plains version - much better. Rob Schmitt N1852Z

I have a pair of heads for 2180 VW and it appears that they are machined for dual plugs but I am bit confused because the secondary holes are drilled and have tubes that come up into the valve cover area. I don't see how plugs can be used there unless the tubes are supposed to be extended up
