I think I made mine 84" and that's including 5" each side for the balance
tabs. Is this too excessive or about right for stability?

Well I went with Mark's AS5046-75 tail airfoil. But someone said to use
some balancing tabs on that as well for more stability. I left my rudder to
the size for the AS5046-75 airfoil as well but if I can get better
performance with changing it let me know. With my KR I widened it 10" and
im running with the AS5046-75 airfoil on my tail section. Ive changed my HS
to 96" .. How high from the HS should I make my rudder to be stable?

I went with the new airfiol on both the wings and H.S. I also stretched it
to 14' and widened it an extra 10" along with widening the center spars 10"
so i dont lose wing surface area. I'm building my wing tanks of aluminum.
Using a corvair engine injected I think. I'm building it for speed

at all in the other sections...how do I find the KR?

Doesn't W.W. recommend that you replace the head studs with ARP bolts? I have
both manual and videos and could have sworn thats what he said to do. Even
gives you instructions on what to do in taking them out. Page 38 in the manual
under THE CASE.

Head studs dont have to be replaced but can be if you choose. ARP bolts are
for rods case and HEAD studs. If you go back to your videos assembly part 3 you
will see where W.W. HIMSELF changed all his bolts to ARP. Also in the manual
on page 38 under the case.

bad to change out the head studs? In your assembly video you say that its ok
to be replaced by ARP head studs. The group disagrees. Your manual said

I used Mark L.'s drawings. They are 1 to 1 drawings I believe he said . It's
in his online manual under horizontial stabilizer/elevator then click on
elevator hinges in the second paragraph. Those are the ones I'm using to scale.
