Re: KR> Mount Vernon 1 June.
Rats! I'd love to join, but I made a crazy commitment to run a 1/2 Marathon tomorrow. I believe the flight to Mount Vernon will take less time than it does to run the 1/2. I was talking with one of our local guys here in New Orleans. Bever Borne is the distributor for one of the ultralights. He is actually the manufacturer. And I mentioned that I was going up to Mount Vernon for a convention. Apparently he had just been there. He started raving about Chris Collins. How that was what an airport manager should be. he could not say enough good stuff. Once we made sure it was the same place, he said it would be a great convention because of Chris. So, looks like our guy and the airport at Mount Vernon has a reputation - the good kind. Ray_pilot New Orleans --- Absolutely agree. Chris is what we all wish we had, but rarely see for airport managers. He's one in a million. -Jeff Scott Cherokee Village, AR ___ Search the KRnet Archives at https://www.mail-archive.com/krnet@list.krnet.org/.
