KR> Storm in Tennessee
Greene County TN, where I live has been declared a disaster area because of the tornado that hit about 5 miles from my home killing 6 people. I sat on my deck and watched a storm pass NW of us that spawned tornadoes in Virginia then the storm which spawned the tornado nearby passes SW of me but I got some hail from it. Thank goodness I had no damage because I just recently recovered from damage from a frozen pipe in my attic which caused several thousand dollars damage to my house. My heart and prayers go out to those who lost life and property in this storm and all the storms over the past month. Jack Cooper

I am glad to hear that Mark is ok. The super tornado just missed our home in Trussville by about a mile. My son was in Tuscaloosa when it came through , thankfully he was one of the lucky ones with no damage other than power outage. The University has suspended all final exams and sent everyone home. As most of you have seen on tv, this state has been totally ravaged. I am sure that your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Mike Sylvester kr2s builder Birmingham,AL. Thanks, but in the overall scheme of things I came out fairly well. Had some wind damage but only a couple of inches of water in the house. Other people did far worse. At least I still have a job, many people don't even have that. My project wasn't hurt even though the warehouse it was in suffered some damage. So my losses were small. The big problem will be the loss of employment. many businesses have left and will probably not come back. New Orleans will eventually be a smaller, poorer town. I feel very certain that we will be back together in record time. I am in Houston now but will be back in New Olreans on Monday. When I can get online I'll give an update as to how we are all doing. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Good to hear you are OK Ray. Being from the other side of the world I can only see & hear the horrible stories of damage on TV. I'm sure I can say from everyone hear in Australia, that we are thinking of you all and hope the road to recovery is as short and painless as possible. all the best. Has anyone received word from Ray Fuenzalida or other storm victims? Larry Flesner

I live in Denham Springs( near Baton Rouge) and was lucky. I don't have a place to work now, but still consider myself lucky. Lost my back fence and there is alot of trees down. Got my electricity back but some of my neighbors do not and it's hot. Most of the company's income that it received comes from the cities of Boloxi and Ocean Springs, Ms..So I don't know what's next but to try to help where I can. I've been trying to get through to the mayor's office in Boloxi but had any luck yet. Our Ms.districts offices where just a couple of blocks off the beach from the casinos. Everything is gone. There's wide spread looting the closer you get to New Orleans and there is serious shortages in gas and bread. But, I know God is looking out for those that believe. My KR2 is dry. I'm sure it will be awhile before full communication is restored in New Orleans where Ray is. I too am wishing him well.
