Public bug reported:
The names of mountpoints in /media/ created by Breezy were taken from
the filesystem label on a removeable media. very nice.
Dapper (on kubuntu) does not mount points are /media/sdb1 etc.
This happens when plugging in the device, or when clicking on the kde desktop

Your /etc/resolv.conf has this comment:
# Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8)
# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN
Do you have resolveconf package installed from universe?

No, *I* am not trying to save the file before the server has sent the
filedata (including filename), *Konqueror* is trying to. As previously
mentioned: This feature works fine in MSIE, and works fine in
Netscape/Mozilla. It's 'simply' an issue of beginning the download
before the save dialog
Yes, I had that package installed (I believe it is a standard Kubuntu package),
and removing it helped.
Now KDE's settings seems to stick in /etc/resolv.conf.
I suppose that either resolvconf should be removed from the default Kubuntu
packages, or the KDE Network settings should be made to
