In Edgy konqueror worked great! After last upgrade to Feisty it suddenly stoped
- I mean I can't no longer use konqueror to browse http/https sites.
I can't browse www sites working as regular user - non root, but when I try to

I'm using an Ubuntu 7.04 clean installation. My computer is a Dell
laptop (Core 2 Duo 7400, 2 GB RAM). Amarok version 1.4.5
I have the same problem and CPU usage when starting up remains 100% for
atleast 5 minutes. Though I am able to play songs, it takes awhile to
startup and freezes whenever
This is still a problem in Kubuntu 7.04. It seems to occur when I'm
logged into an MSN account, and it stops immediately after I log out. I
also use Kopete with XMPP, and it doesn't have this problem.

I have had similar problems, namely with the first installation of Java.
It's necessary to press an OK button to accept Sun's licence, but it's
not possible in Adept. Synaptic doesn't have the problem. This was on
Edgy.

I tried to remove kicker using synaptic, and the following were going to
be removed too:
kcontrol
kde-systemsettings
kmplayer-konq-plugins
konq-kim
konq-plugins
konqueror
kubuntu-konqueror-shortcuts
None of these should depend on kicker, surely.

I had the same problem, and was corrected by those steps
-Open a terminal in the home directory:
mv ~/.kde ~/.kde2
-Run Konqueror, keep window open.
-Go to terminal again:
rm -r .kde mv ~/.kde2 ~/.kde
- Go to Konqueror window. Save ALL view profiles again (Settings-Save View
Profile...)

I used fontconfig-voodoo -f -s zh_CN to set preferred fonts of
simplified chinese. Konqueror doesn't display chinese fonts well in all
chinese pages. like
