This still doesn't seem fixed for me. I have the k8m800 on my laptop (Averatec 2260-EK1) and I have installed Ubuntu 7.04 64-bit. By default, it is configured to use the vesa driver, and if I edit my xorg.conf to change it to via, X fails to start with the No devices detected error message. --
