Make sure that gcc has been fixed in Quantal already - I have seen an
upload the other days which forced usage of gcc-4.6 to work around this
(or another) bug.

Either you're using the KDE enabled version, in which case you at least
have kdelibs installed or you've got quassel-qt installed and it
shouldn't know anything about KNotify. Try quassel-qt if you haven't.

The packaging has just one caveat, there are a couple of icons like imgur's
logo that I don't install at the moment ( Neither does debian ). I'm a
