This has happened at least three times, so I'll mention it here.
After k3b appears to write a Blu-ray DVD successfully--

This is filed in concert with bug report #1485811. After the failure to
begin verification that I described in that report, I attempted to start
a standalone verification of the DVD against the input .ISO file, which
I had instructed k3b not to delete.
This is still an issue in Plasma 5.2.2 and 5.3.2 (latest stable
version). Switching to another virtual desktop unfreezes my screen.
Disabling compositor seems to fix the problem for me.
My system is Dell E5450 i5-5300U with docking station, two monitors. I'm
using Intel graphics, no Bumblebee nor
August. Four months. STILL nobody has replied since the person who said
this was in the wrong place.
Utterly pathetic.

Usualy in KDE 4.xx I could do something like this :
1. Open a number of files in kate - files being located in different locations.
2. Activate one of the open file.
3. Select Open from the file-menu
4. I'm now left in a file dialog in the directory of the activated file to
