I've tried setting popup notifications for various events in
systemsettings5 and none of them are showing up. Also, none of these
commands display anything and return exit status 0:
notify-send 'text'
kdialog --passivepopup 'text' 5
qdbus org.kde.knotify /Notify event

Meta FFe file for all of KDE. We fell behind doing debian merges for hundreds
of packages with only a few packagers. We needs these exceptions to be approved
if we have any hope of having a successful xenial launch. Thank you for your
