If you run the Startup Disk Creator in a 16.04 host system, you are
running a new version, that should not be affected by this bug, whatever
version of the target system you select.
But if you run the Startup Disk Creator in a previous version of Ubuntu
(host), and try to install
This would likely be fixed in unity-system-compositor, not LightDM.

there in k3b-i18n since at least 14.04 LTS, so 2.0.2-7ubuntu1 to
