The logs do not show anything to do with diskspace, but do show the
installer crashed with:
malloc(): unaligned tcache chunk detected

Ubiquity KDE
To test the slight possibility that builds with the current toolchain
might be at fault, I rebuilt mesa 20.03.4 against current
release+proposed pockets and downgraded mesa to the result.
Ubiquity/greeter does not crash with that combination.
