Hi, I have a HP 15-BS000 series laptop notebook with Insyde BIOS and
using Ubuntu 17.10. So, far I have not observed any issues as reported
by others. Can anyone confirm if HP models are safe from this bug. Thank

It plays for 2/3 of the file then I switch the audio to 4.0 then back to 5.1 in
the GUI.

I think I found something that helps - I'll admit I can't piece it all together
on my own, and I've had ZERO feedback here, but to save someone else YEARS of
