I also experienced this annoying bug after upgrading to 14.10. I think
I found a work around.
According to SteveRiley, on the Kubuntu Forum, if you enable All users
may connect to this network in the settings, then the connection does
autoconnect. I tried this once or twice with my wifi networks
New to KDE. Running Fedora 20, KDE 4.13.2. Created about 20 email
identities, with about the same number of filters to simply move
messages into appropriate folders. Filter processing is duplicating
email messages. If I disable filters, problem goes away. Example: With
filters enabled my
Myriam, be cool. this is a beta, and we all agreed to cooperate:-)
And... it works.I have to check mymaintained driver.

Tested natty-proposed on my laptop. Suspend works with cifs mount, and
if a process is reading a file on a cifs mount. If a process is writing
a file to a cifs mount we do not suspend, we just get a black screen.
However, this is what we wanted as it fixes the case for most users, and

I am looking at the repository now and all of the libxine-related
packages are all 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3.

Application Settings' menu item when middle clicking on the firefox
