I installed karbon, and calligrawords, calligrastage, and calligrasheets
were also installed.
All of these packages require calligra-libs as a dependency.
However, calligra-libs lists calligrawords, calligrastage, and
calligrasheets as dependencies.
This seems odd that the

If you zoom into the images in the attachments (#31, 32, #33) it looks
like Plasma is using *grayscale* anti-aliased fonts. On my LCD monitor,
RGB sub-pixel anti-aliased fonts look better, and zooming into these
fonts in the attached images, you will see slight color fringes on the
characters).
I am trying out Kubuntu 13.04 x64 (KDE 4.10.3) and the issue is still
present.
(This bug has been around for a while; I had actually switched away from
KDE in 2011 because of it!!!)
I tried restarting Kwin per comment #27, and that seems to at least pick
up my selected font style when displaying
I am also experiencing this issue on Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx x64.

Settings-Configure shows a blank window with nothing in it, and causes Kopete
to hang.

KDE 4.3.1.

Lancelot does not use anti-aliased fonts after anti-aliasing has been
enabled from System Settings | Fonts...

From System Settings...
Select Fonts
For Use anti-aliasing, select Enabled
Click Configure button and make selections.
I am experiencing this problem in Hardy. The systemsettings | Appearance
option creates a local ~/.fonts.conf file. The settings in this file do not
correspond to the options I select when I execute:
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-config --force
