I installed Skype 1.4.0.118 on my Samsung Q1 Ultra running a Hardy beta
of Ubuntu Mobile (LPIA architecture). Skype crashes during launch
because of an assertion failure at line 367 of qbrush.cpp:

After repeated resets using the Terminal I was finally able to make the
datestamp correct. I was not able to this using su but was able to sudo date
MMDDhhmm ,
However a log out will cause the bug torear its ugly
