In Kubuntu Plasma 5 i386 the problem is solved. Now I can see the file /usr/share/dbus-1/system-services/org.kde.powerdevil.backlighthelper.service. This file was absent in the previous images, I think this was the cause. Apparently it was a packaging issue, at least in my case. -- You
