Re-assigning to pam-kwallet as LightDM doesn't create the PAM
configuration.

I am unsure why this is a issue? We have pam_kwallet for the Kubuntu and
KDE installations and surely not having the pam_kwallet module only
issues a warning.

you have selected 'pam-kwallet' instead of 'lightdm'; ok you might be right
about 'lightdm' not concerned, but that Utopic fresh installation has been made
from scratch with mini.iso and 'ubuntu-desktop' selected at installation time
as the unique desktop.

hm, digging a bit more, lightdm semms the real package to be blamed:
oem@u64:~$ grep kwallet /etc/pam.d/*
