This happened to me yesterday, the key pad was totally unresponsive. I managed
to get it to work again by toggling the num lock key about 5 or 6 times

yes sir, numlock is on, it actually happens after about 35 mins after booting
up, it is completely non-functional. thanks for the fast response Kenny.
