Description:
I just installed Kubuntu flight 6 (dapper), but I can't install my printer. 
When I do KMenu > System Settings > Printers, I get
Unable to retrieve the printer list. Error message received from manager:

Connection to CUPS server failed. Check that the CUPS server is
correctly installed and running. Errot: the IPP request failed for an
unknown reason.

How can I make my printer work? This is on a fresh install,
