Public bug reported: ISO Testing Kubuntu Netbook i386 LiveCD:
The LiveCD boots fine and I've been able to install and launch Firefox. I've closed firefox and played with the menus to install a new application, and click on the button on the bottom panel to add an applet to the desktop. The desktop froze but the mouse and keyboard are still actives. When I use Alt+tab, I can rotate through the list of open applications but can't activate any. When I use CTRL+ALT+F1 I can switch to a text console. Sorry for this rather fuzzy description, don't hesitate to ask if you need some tests.
