[Bug 111972] Kamera ioslave causes data loss
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdegraphics Copying quite huge files from the camera results in a target file of 0 bytes size. There's no error message at all, the copy process aborts after being stalled at 0% quite some time. The data loss now can happen, if you actually _move_ the file, rather than copy it, because the source (on the camera) gets deleted after the 0-byte-file had been created. ** Affects: kdegraphics (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Kamera ioslave causes data loss https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/111972 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kdegraphics in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 112208] Purging affects other pachages that user may not want purged
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: adept Yesterday I installed Enlightenment, the desktop environment, and today I decided to uninstall it. I wanted to uninstall the package along with any configuration files and what not so I selected purging in adept. I did this for every Enlightenment package that I had installed. When I committed the change, adept started to uninstal Kubuntu-desktop and all the kde apps. That is very annoying. Adept should have a feature where it warns that user if purging a package will affect another package that is installed/used, like kubuntu-desktop. Then give the user the choice to continue with the purge or cancel it. Thanks all for continuing to provide backtraces, but they are no longer necessary for this bug report. Trust me, the developers are well aware of this issue! If you would like to follow the process of getting the fixes SRU'd into Feisty, please subscribe to bug 110881. Please no comments on that report unless you are very knowledgeable about packaging, patching, working with code, and such. Any extra comments now only clog up these bug reports and slow things down. In the hopes of expediting this process, please be content just sitting back and watching unless you have something brand new to contribute to the report. -- KTorrent crashed without warning (fixed upstream) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109184 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for ktorrent in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 112244] Konqueror refuses to resolve localhost and 127.0.0.1 in some cases
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: konqueror Basically, I was doing some fun little tests with apache on my laptop and I was doing them in a place where there was no internet to connect too. If KNetworkManager is running and I attempt to visit either http://localhost/ or http://127.0.0.1/ I get a host not found error, which is incorrect. If I quit from KNetworkManager Konqueror works as expected. My assumption is that konqueror has somehow been patched to check knetworkmanager before resolving addresses, and it should probably make sure that localhost isn't being requested before just saying the page can't be found. ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Konqueror refuses to resolve localhost and 127.0.0.1 in some cases https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/112244 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
