[Bug 1168682] [NEW] (German) translation not loaded completely in LightDM KCM

2013-04-13 Thread Nightfall
Public bug reported:

Testing with Kubuntu raring daily iso of 2013-04-12 running as live
system; language selected as German.

Nearly all strings in the Theme tab of KDE's LightDM KCM are untranslated,
although there exist translations in lightdm-kde-0.3.1's source package
(obtained via apt-get source lightdm-kde).
The only translated string is the tab title.

Example strings: Keep aspect ratio:, Welcome image:.
These are translated in
lightdm-kde-0.3.1/po/de/lightdm_theme_{classic,userbar}.po.

Strings in the General tab (including tab title) are translated;
these, including the tab titles, probably come from lightdm-
kde-0.3.1/po/de/kcm_lightdm.po.

Also, the KCM's title Select login theme, adjust login features isn't
translated, which might be a missing translation though.

Didn't test for other languages than German.

Package versions:
lightdm-kde-greeter: 0.3.1.1-1ubuntu1
lightdm: 1.5.3-0ubuntu1

[Bug 875660]

2013-04-13 Thread Chain
I found what the difference was on the two machines what SHOULD help a
lot!

If I set phonon-gstreamer to higher priority, this problem happens, if I
use phonon-vlc, then it doesn't. Don't know what to blame, but at least
I have a working system again by prioritizing phonon-vlc.

[Bug 1168694] [NEW] A dummy login screen is displayed upon idle

2013-04-13 Thread Joonas Saarinen
Public bug reported:

KDE: 4.10.2

Occasionally, when my system has been idle for some time (but less than
what is configured in power settings), the standard KDE lock screen is
displayed but it can be bypassed by pressing any key! The appearance is
similar including the user name and password prompt.

After more time passes, I also get the real (secure) lock screen just
how I would expect.

Add in a regular expression, eg Settings, configure Kompare, Diff,
Options tab and click 'Ignore regexp'. I used ^Version as the regular
expression. Close kompare and execute the following

william@caracal:/tmp$ mkdir dir1 dir2
william@caracal:/tmp$ touch dir1/abc.txt dir2/abc.txt
william@caracal:/tmp$
william@caracal:/tmp$ kompare dir1 dir2

A dialog stating could not parse output appear making the program
unusable. This is a regression from Ubuntu 8.04.

william@caracal:/tmp$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 8.10
Release:8.10

william@caracal:/tmp$ apt-cache policy kompare
kompare:
  Installed: 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu1.1
  Candidate: 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu1.1
  Version table:

100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu1 0

Hi,

I can reproduce this on debian/stable (squeeze).

kompare .deb package version 4:4.4.5-1.
help - about says kompare 4.0.0, kde 4.4.5.

using the same regex pattern on the command line for 'diff -I' works ok.

thanks,
Hamish
