Thanks Gianfranco, this indeed looks more plausible. Sponsored.

We do not support openSuSe sorry.
What I need is for someone on *trusty* to enable kubuntu backports update and
tell me if the problem still exists.
Thanks,

This is fallout from a post-beta merge of a new upstream version of

A feature freeze exception of a core build tool is altogether
unreasonable. When it introduces regressions, it is unacceptable.

The same problem is in Kubuntu daily image from 2016-03-29 after

Just confirming that the 3.5.0-1ubuntu2 upload doesn't help
unfortunately.
Note cmake-extras needs to be rebuilt again (no-change) if cmake will
get reverted (yes, we need to come up with some better packaging there -
at least appropriately versioned dependencies on cmake).

Sorry, I am trying. I don't understand this package at all. I have never worked
with it. All I get is failure, but I am certain it is me and not the patch.
Will probably have to wait for Philip to return.

Bugs,
You are right guys, I've reviewed the patches but missed the added file
inside the debian directory, it is used by the patch 'ubuntu_cmake-
crosscompile.patch' and we probably did not get it in our massive
rebuild because we did not run a cross compilation. Sorry about that.
I'm updating the
I am not able to reproduce this, are you? If I don't touch anything to
make the boot menu show, it boots up anyway and then you get the
ubiquity welcome screen asking to choose your language and whether to
try or install ubuntu.

I can also confirm the bug on openSUSE tumbleweed (plasma 5.5.5). Igor's
command fixes it from the terminal.

BTW I honestly think this was a typo in the set variable.
Probably a change like
+- _pkgconfig_set("${_pkg_check_modules_pkg}_${variable}"
Have reviewed this and am satisfied that this is correct, and 3.5.1
looks to be a better choice than 3.5.0 for release. Per discussion on
IRC, it looks like we're waiting for 3.5.0-1ubuntu3 to migrate first;
once this is done I'm happy to sponsor this upload.

Only variables started with the passed prefix (in this case `GLIB2`)
should be set. I don't think the variables starting with `glib-2.0_`
should be set.
