Hi!
I've no problem with lan/wlan, but if i use my UMTS card with kppp I've
this problem. Firefox and the shell programs work without a problem, but
every KDE application doesn't work until I close knetworkmanager.
I get following with knetworkmanager

Ok, to add to my last report. (I ran the same tests from a Centos4.4 box)
I logged into my centos 4.4 (KDE X desktop) , installed openoffice (version
1.1.5 - it's the default for this version) I used this box to then accessed the
samba server that was in user settings (ie a password is required

Try Xubuntu, I Just changed to it and my lockup problems are solved :)
that would imply that the Nvidia driver doesn't like something in Gnome.
