audio controller myself and it hasn't worked since Edgy/Feisty, but it
is now fixed in

With kubuntu-desktop-kde4, GTK2 apps look terrible within KDE4.
Firefox is a good example, it will use your Gnome icon theme, but the
rest of it looks like an unthemed GTK. In fact, all GTK apps look
terrible within KDE4.
Is there any way to make the

Well, this feature was at least present in Dapper (Amarok 1.3.9), though
from looking at the changes over 1.3.9 (dapper), 1.4.3 (edgy) to 1.4.8
(hardy) I didn't find anything which would indicate that this was
removed.
My guess, without looking at the code, is that Amarok generates the
result
The hardy version already had this fixed in a slightly different way.
Thanks for providing the patch. Given the number of open Guidance bugs,
I'll probably be doing more uploads. Let me know if you figure out

I just went crazy testing this with Hardy which has KDE 3.5.9 and
KTorrent 2.2.5 due to Jonathan's comment. My specs are 1280x800 and
everything resizes perfectly and I have no problems with the info widget
either. If you are still experiencing this issue, then could you please

Confirm this on Gutsy w. 3.5.9 (but I've had it on 3.5.8 as well, maybe
even 3.5.7, not sure).

I'm really relieved that I'm not the only one having this problem. I'm
backing up all of my CDs, and this issue really gets frustrating after a
while.
