I am beginning to think maybe this bug is not in KDE itself, but instead
in fontconfig-config. Maybe I should change the package related to this
bug.

Rejecting for kubuntu-default-settings since upstream needs to accept
this as default, also from a general point of view, not the window
manager should remember the position and size, but the application, thus
being wm-agnostic.

I'm assigning this to kubuntu-netbook as it is the only system effected
by the poor display.
By default the system window should take up the whole screen and the
bottom window should have a 50-50 split which then makes the app
pleasing
