Also the window decorations and menus are not transparent any more. What seems quite strange is that when I click the panel's cashew the drop down menu is transparent for a second before it also looses transparency. I can't even view existing group chats, nor can I attempt to start them via the methods mentioned in the docs: dragging user icons into the Participant dialog or via the (completely missing) Chat-Invite menu option. Yes, I am running GNOME, but had the same issue under KDE last fall (KDE 4.1, whatever version of Kopete was standard in Intrepid at its launch). I've attached a screenshot of the menus. Thank you! If people are suggesting sizes like 10.5 pt, perhaps the answer is that the offered menu of sizes would be based on using the *pixels-per-em* as the granularity (these are ultimately the hint choices that the rendering infrastructure is going to be rounding/working to).
