Public bug reported:
The crash is caused by a segmentation fault in plasma-desktop, related
with menubar.
Steps to reproduce:
1.- Add a superior panel in plasma-workspace.
2.- Add the menubar widget in that panel.
3.- Open an application.
4.- Vuala! plasma-desktop crashes and DrKonqi appears.
P.S: One way to do this would be similar to what is usually done on
RedHat to bind additional repositories: Create a package that will
create the sources.list file. DrKonqi could then suggest to install that
package, which would be much simpler and could be more easily automated

Please make DrKonqi suggest to add dbgsym packages as described in [1]
and also allow to install them automatically.

Tommy,
Ok. Did your upgrade from Natty to Precise affect this at all? And why
did LightDM stop working? Does being on Kubuntu seem to have anything to
do with the issue?
Muchas Gracias!

Public bug reported:
Hi, I tried to use KDM as rescue step when lightdm stopped to work, but kdm
allows me only log-into XFCE. When I try log into Ubuntu (Unity), Unity 2D,
Gnome 3 shell, it just restarts itself (kdm).
Thank you.
